Marijuana Use and Workplace Safety Research

A Chapter Member is asking for your assistance. Please read below:

“My name is Cindy Medford. I am a PhD Candidate in Safety Sciences at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. I need your support in my research study titled, “An investigation of worker safety perceptions and influencing factors on marijuana use.” By examining current worker perceptions on marijuana use and impacts, workplace training and drug testing policies can be adjusted and made more effective.

Please consider completing my anonymous survey and in particular forwarding the link or flyer to employees in your company. You may want to post the flyer in an area where workers can see it to encourage participating. Also, feel free to send the link and flyer to other managers, supervisors, and safety professionals that you think may be interested. Thanks so much.

This project has been approved by the Indiana University of Pennsylvania Institutional Review Board for the Protection of Human Subjects (Phone 724.357.7730).
