HAPPY NEW YEAR!

As we progress through Winter in anticipation of Spring, your Chapter Executive Committee is hard at work planning a meeting and tours for the remaining of the Chapter year.

A huge Thank You! is in store for Fran Sehn, Past President, for organizing and planning the December Networking Lunch at the Hofbräuhaus in Pittsburgh on Friday, December 16. We appreciate that ASSP's Senior Vice President, Pam Walaski CSP, who is also a long-time member of the Chapter provided a Society update.

We have the January Technical Tour scheduled at Giffin Interior & Fixture, Inc. in Bridgeville on Thursday, January 12, 2023. Registration is open on the chapter website.

We are working on finalizing the February 09 meeting and will get information out as soon as it is finalized.

We are finalizing the plans for our March 09 meeting which will be at the American Red Cross Manufacturing facility in Johnstown PA. More information to come.

We are working to schedule another tour of the Pittsburgh International Airport Terminal Modernization Program construction site in April. More information to come.

The Western PA Professional Development Conference (PDC) is scheduled for April 27, 2023, at the Loft Conference Center adjacent to the AC Marriott Pittsburgh Southpointe, Canonsburg PA. Please "Save the Date" and plan to attend. The Planning Committee will be requesting Proposals for Speakers and will need sponsors and vendors.

In May, we are trying to arrange for a tour of another construction site in downtown Pittsburgh with more information to come.

June 5-7, 2023 is the ASSP Professional Development Conference in San Antonio TX.

If you have ideas for tours or meetings, recommendations for tours or speakers, or ideas for tours or meetings contact any one of the Executive Committee members listed on the website. We continue to plan the monthly events and are trying to schedule more tours than meetings. We are trying to get more involved with and provide more support to the Student Sections of IUP, SRU, and Thiel College.

The Northeast PA (NEPA) ASSP Professional Development Conference is March 21, 2023, 7:00am-4:00pm at the Hilton Scranton and Conference Center, 100 Adams Ave, Scranton, PA 18503. More information is on their website here.
