PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE

Fellow Safety Professionals,
Where has the time gone, the leaves are now falling, and cooler weather is around us. The area that we are interacting in is ever changing but we are moving forward and not missing a beat. That brings me to the upcoming months content delivery and interaction. We had the absolute pleasure of featuring Dr. John Mulroy of PA OSHA Consultation for the October technical meeting and like everyone else in attendance I am sure you took away some very useful information. Also in October the Chapters Executive Committee participated in a virtual leadership conference held by ASSP where we got to engage with other chapter leadership members and the society.

Topic: “Fire – The Original Workplace Hazard”
Presentation Description: This program will cover basic fire prevention and protection practices for worker safety and damage control in the workplace. The program will cover best practices to assist your local fire department with extinguishing a fire. The program will end with post-fire business continuity planning considerations to limit business downtime due to a fire.
